These beautiful small Purple Agate slices display intricate natural banding, delicate crystalline patterns and rich shades of violet and purple. Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz, formed through the gradual deposition of silica within cavities in volcanic rock. Each slice has been cut and polished to reveal its unique internal formations, with purple colouring typically enhanced through dyeing.
