The Witch’s Ladder: A Counting 1–10 Book is a learn-to-count picture book that introduces magical symbols and knot magic along with number identification. How many knots can you find on each page?
 Each page of The Witch’s Ladder features a traditional witch’s ladder spell being crafted from string, with feathers, rocks, and charms being added progressively. As they count up with the increasing knots and charms on each page, little ones will be captivated by predicting the rhyming text and watching the shifting light and shadows.
 
By knot of 1, the spell’s begun.
By knot of 2, the spell’s come true.
By knot of 3, so it shall be.
 
The Witch’s Ladder: A Counting 1–10 Book will inspire your child to learn to count to ten and identify their numbers, using large text with emphasized numerals and a rhyming structure that encourages them to call out the numbers on each page.

About the Author

Andrea Stein is an author of magical books for children, including Sunday the Sea Witch and What Witches Wear. As the publisher and owner of Moon Dust Press, she creates resources for families that change the narrative around witchcraft in children's literature.   Felishia Henditirto was born in Bandung, Indonesia, and has been fascinated by art and stories since she was a child. She recently graduated with a BFA in graphic design. In her illustrations, Felishia likes to play with colours, light, and shadow.
